Greetings, We had such an incredible time at the UW Medicinal Herb Garden a few week ago that I have been invited to offer another class. If you missed that class or....if you attended that last one and have a lot of questions yet unanswered, I would love to see you there. This is such an incredible time to learn to identify, gather and prepare herbs for healing. Below is a full description. I look forward to seeing you out on the Earth. Green Blessings, Julie
Gathering and Preparation of Herbs the Wise Woman Way July 30, 2008 ~ 7-9 pm ~ UW Medicinal Herb Garden Join shamanic herbalist, Julie Charette Nunn, Crow’s Daughter in the medicinal herb garden at the University of Washington during the most spectacular time in the growing season. We will explore the many cultivated herbs in the medicinal herb gardens and also discover the wild plants on the periphery, the common plants that grow at your door steps. Discover how to grow, gather and prepare herbs simply and safely using the time honored methods of the wise woman tradition. Julie will weave shamanic exercises into our time together. These ancient listening techniques help to expand your awareness so that you may listen and talk to plants. I will provide nourishing herbal infusion to drink, a hand-out of resources and other information and I will also be selling my nourishing herbal creations. Cost is $30. You may register for this class with Jan Kinsey, 206 706-2987, proudmountain@earthlink.net, Pregistration is requested. Julie Charette Nunn, Crow's Daughter is a beloved, wild and compassionate teacher of wise woman herbal ways.
