calling all peach recipes!!!!

I bought a case of peaches at the porter peach festival yesterday and although many of them won't be around long enough to cook or can because they are so yummy fresh, there will certainly be a few that are more cooking quality. does anyone have any favorite unique peach recipes?

mmmm I do love peaches, last year we bought a bushel and dried most of them, they never made it into the fall, we ate them all up in a matter of a few weeks.

I do like a good peach cobbler

Its looking as though none will escape our fresh eating! I set some aside this morning to make some peach butter I'm thinking I may have to go back to the orchard and buy another case so that I will have enough to preserve for the winter. I have a peach tree (dwarf) that I saved form being cut down but sadly some disease ruins the peaches just after they set. The first year after I transplanted it, it made the biggest most amazing fruit. That was 5 years ago Sad

the peach butter turned out great! if I had more I would try making it with concentrated apple juice instead of sugar. They are going fast though! think I'm going to hunt for a peach syrup recipe.
