Lopez island is an amazing place for local foods. right now i am sitting in a bar with a sticker out front saying certified local foods...
this is also a great place for learning about local economy. local economy on a small island is very very easy to see and feel an impact on.
right now i am working on a coop land trust building straw bale houses for low budget residence.
the lopez island land trust was build with a permaculture focus and built for the purpose of sustainability to benifit the over all community.
right now theres room for more interns... we will need them for building straw bale houses. come and check us out. being an intern is great and a great oppertunity to learn and grow.
