i'm wondering what other folks are doing about timing of crops with this abnormally cold season. i was aiming for 'onions in by earth day', but figure on some flexibility given the snow and hail!
what are some other seasonal adaptations that others are making?

we're shifting all of our planting back by two to three weeks, at least that's the current plan.

Out on Orcas a lot of us are charging ahead in spite of the weather. I've got napa cabbages that I direct seeded on 4/16/08 germinating in 50 degree soil. If I had more cloches/bell jars/milk jugs to throw on things, I would...
I think I've seen carrots, radishes, peas, spinich, and cilantro all germinating as well. Just don't go hog wild on the tomatoes and peppers yet.
