Thought I'd share a very cool DYI article on how to make your own Solar Messenger Bag from which you can recharge your devices (cell phone, etc.). Relatively inexpensive (compared to the mass-market versions of these bags), reasonably attractive, and shockingly straightforward:

Does anyone know how much energy is produced by one of these solar panels?  I'm wondering how much energy it would save to use, and if it makes financial sense for us skint folk to save on energy bills by making one of these.  I'm guessing not, but it's worth checking...
