If you're interested in urban sustainable building issues and are in the Seattle area, I urge you to check out their Transformational Lecture Series. I attended the one last week on "Sustainable Cities, Food, and Neighborhoods: Do They Relate?" and thought it was quite excellent. Here's the rest of the lecture schedule for the year:

MJ,
I have activated a calendar thingy on this forum software. You should see a link at the top of every page.
Go ahead and put stuff in there if you want.

I played around with it a bit, but I can't seem to figure out how to add anything to it. Suggestions? Maybe I don't have the right level of access?

Ah. Now I'm getting the "post event" link in the calendar. For some reason earlier today I wasn't getting it. I also couldn't post to the site for like a half hour. Maybe some weird glitch... It seems to have self-healed regardless.
