Good references for learning about wild edibles

I think posting about particular books or articles related to learning about wild edibles foraging would be helpful. And let's include critical comments too, if you notice things that should be added about particular plants.

So what have you referenced in the past on this topic?

I'd say you'd do well to start with Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast by Pojar & Mackinnon. That will tell you about Native American uses for many of the indigenous vegetation.

I've also heard that Michael Moore (not the film producer, but the herbalist) writes excellent books about medicinals of the west coast.

Hi everyone,
One other really great book to have is Food Plants of the Coastal First Peoples by Nancy J. Turner (A.K.A my hero). She has written many books on Native uses of plants as well as a book on Poisonous plants which is really helpful for filling in the gaps of knowledge. 

Michael Moore's books are great too.
