Just a few hours ago I met with a group of people that want to regularly head out and teach each other about wild edibles.

This forum is to help plan meeting times, places, etc.  And to talk about wild edibles in the seattle area.

Well,

I think the idea is that we can plan stuff here.

So far, there is the event this friday (which I won't be able to make it to) at the arboretum.

As for a next event - perhaps the following friday?

Hi Paul-

Yes, the next event will be this upcoming Friday evening (June 22nd), 7pm, at the Washington Park Arboretum. We are meeting at the visitor center, and Arthur said 'if anyone arrives late and wants to find the group, head south of the greenhouse, stay east of the drive . . .'

For those not familiar with the Arboretum, here is a link showing where it is located:

and here is the Washington Park Arboretum website as well.

The wild weed walk Friday was really wonderful. I keep looking through my notes hoping to find more just because it was so fun. I have been eating wild foods everyday and feeling good. I think it would be a good idea to meet at the arboretum again as there seems to be so much to learn there. I would love to have you all up to my neck of the woods some day too. I live next to the Northacres park off of 130 th. It's a long way away for many of you, but, there seems to be lots to nibble on. I can't imagine really having to feed myself with wild foods though. Really it would have to be a full time activity.

Thanks Arthur for all of the information, inspiration and belly laughs too!
Thanks everyone else, what a good group of people.
