[color=Purple]Ringer can be found at Home Depot.

I love this website & that there are people like me who don't know much about their lawns, but would like to have a lush, green lawn.

My hubby is "height resistant" when it comes to mowing our lawn.  I took over mowing the front yard last summer & even bought a push, reel mower!  I used it in the beginning of the summer, but it wasn't very useful in the later part.  It must need to be adjusted, too, as I had to mow the same area 3 or 4 times before it got all of the grass to the same height.  In some cases it never did come out to the same height.

If you have any suggestions to improve my mowing efficiency, it would be greatly appreciated.

(reely) like about the reel mower is the satisfaction I get from watching the blades of grass being cut.  It's also deeply gratifying when you mow through dandelions & watch as their little heads pop off and are flung into the air! Ha ha ha (maniacal laughter

Yes, that is a big down side of using a reel mower.   When grass and weeds get high enough, the reel style mower pushes them over before cutting them.
