I have made the leap over to the organic side. My grass is cut on the highest setting, infrequently watered, and I have found a local feed store that carries Ringer fertilizer(even though it is $30/ bag).I have noticed, however, that there are crickets every where in my lawn. I have been picking weeds by hand and have noticed more crickets and pill bugs. Are these a problem or gift to attract birds to help my grub situation ? It is summer in Indiana and there are obviously more bugs than any time of the year and I have been focused on my lawn. All of this meaning I am probably worrying too much. undecided

Bird feed on the hoof.

I wouldn't worry about it as long as you have a nice turf.
