Hi Todd,
Please send me an email to Newfoundland007@gmail.com as I would like to talk more.  Thanks.

Hi, I am a petite 51 year young woman and have a little land both in Vermont and Canada.  I have knowledge and interest in perm living and do so, not to the extent that I would like to.  I am off the grid in Canada and like simple living.  I am in the states more in the winter where I have a small home with a woodstove.  I like hiking and growing organic food and am learning all the time.  Mostly vegetarian, often vegan, sometimes wild meat eater.  I do not smoke, drink very rarely, and gave up drugs.  More spiritual than religious and come from a Judeo-Christian background.  I am retired from teaching wholistic health and am now focused on plants, domestic and wild.

Anyone want to explore a friendship and possibly take it from there?  Thanks.

(PS please disregard post on single perm forum as I hadn't started a new topic, now I have)

Just want to respond to US people in Canada.  I bought crown land in NL.  The NL government now realize the value of the land.  It was more expensive than it had been in recent years.  And as a US citizen the amount of time as a seasonal resident is no more than 6 months.  I can garden from June 1 and get plenty of harvest and leave December 1.  As for becoming a permenant resident, I do not qualify for any of the requirements.  Basically one needs to have a lot of money.
